Mr. Ashish D. Sarkar is a retired energy industry executive, serving on several nonprofit boards in southeast Michigan area. He currently serves as the President of a 325 member Rotary Club of Ann Arbor, the largest Rotary Club in Michigan and one of the top 40 clubs in the world. His role at Cadbridge aligns with his goal to bring his experience to the energy and infrastructure industry as a consultant executive.

Mr. Sarkar has over 40 years of experience in global business development, where he has successfully implemented a diverse range of power generation and renewable energy initiatives. He has extensive experience in executive management with Fortune 200 companies, working in over 20 different countries on 5 continents.

Mr. Sarkar has successfully created businesses worth over $10 billion in enterprise value. He has significant project finance experience working in the USA, emerging markets in Asia, Africa, and Latin/Central America.

His specialties include company startup leadership support, corporate management with overall P&L responsibilities, mergers and acquisitions support, project and company business development, project management, construction management, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, and liaison with governmental agencies.

Specific projects of Mr. Sarkar include a 235 MW CCGT project in India that was the first successful IPP in the country, a 125 MW CCGT project in Argentina, a 122 MW CCGT cogeneration project in Thailand, and a 120 MW barge mounted natural gas project in Bangladesh that was the first IPP in the country. He has also worked in Peru, Taiwan, Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
